Learn To Speedskate

Join us for any 3 skating sessions during our regular season at either Riverside or Cazenovia. We provide the instruction, you provide the desire to learn and have fun.

Short Track Speed Skating is one of the Winter Olympics' most popular sports, and gold medal winner Apolo Ohno one of its most celebrated athletes. This program gives anyone the opportunity to try out this fast and exciting sport in a fun, safe and supportive environment. This is a unique chance for skaters of all abilities to take to the ice, and try for themselves a sport they have only seen on TV.

Cost

$40 for all 3 sessions, including the use of speed skates. Also, If you decide to become a member and join us for the rest of the season, the $40 program fee goes towards your pro-rated membership dues.

Requirements

You must bring a helmet, (bicycle or hockey helmets are fine), long fingered gloves, thin socks, warm preferably tight fitting long pants and a long sleeve shirt or jacket.
